Youth Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers - Senior High school students to serve at seasonal liturgies. Training is provided.

Eucharistic Ministers - 9 AM Sunday Liturgy High school students who administer Holy Communion at the 9:00 AM Sunday Liturgy. Commitment is on a quarterly rotating basis. Training is provided.

Handbell Choir - for Youth and Adults Our Handbell Choir, which started last Spring, is expanding this year. The bell ensemble will rehearse once a week and will enrich a weekend liturgy once each month. The Handbell Choir will also be a part of our special liturgies such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. Reading music is helpful, but not necessary. Membership is open to anyone middle school age or older. Rehearsal time: TBA. James Pfister

Lectors for 9 AM Sunday Liturgy Students who proclaim the Word of God at the 9:00 AM Sunday Liturgy. Commitment is approximately once a month.

Choir - Singers and Instrumentalists You can sign up to join the Saturday 5:00 P.M., Sunday 9:00 A.M. or 11:00 A.M. music groups (as singers or instrumentalists). Saturday 5:00 P.M. choir rehearsal begins before Mass at 4:00 P.M. The Sunday 9:00 A.M. or 11:00 A.M. choirs rehearse together on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 P.M.

Note: 9:00 choir "warms up" at 8:30 A.M. on Sundays; the 11:00 choir "warms up" at 10:20-10:50 on Sundays. (Children and Teens will be invited to our Music Ministry through our Faith Formation programs.)

Drum circles, spoken word, a capella, chant, gospel and improvisational sacred music styles are being planned. Join us in group workshops.

Teen Liturgy Committee
(T.L.C)

 
This committee is open to all High School aged teens.  Teens will help develop a Teen Mass.  The group will also be a part of planning and leading special liturgies such as Stations of the Cross and Teen retreats.
