Tutoring
Winter Nights Shelter at St. John Vianney - 2012 |
| Tutor/Educational Activities Volunteers
The main goal for tutors/educational activities
volunteers is to have each child gain a feeling of positive
accomplishment and progress in their homework and learning
activities.
There will be one or two seasonal volunteers from the Winter Nights
program in attendance each night, in addition to a Tutoring
Coordinator from St. John Vianney.
All students will have a folder which will include a list of goals
or age appropriate activities, some materials to be used with the
child, and a log for recording what has been done with the child
each day. The Winter Nights’ program will provide educational
materials and games for use by the volunteers.
