Take this
opportunity to learn about Church teachings and to discuss
them in a friendly, open and non-judgmental setting.
Common
Areas of Discussion:
Morality:
What is a sin? What does the Church teach on social
and sexual issues today?
Conformity: Why does the Church differ parish to
parish, United States and Rome? Can I be an active
member of the Church if I disagree?
Confession: How do I go? What do I
say? Why confess?
Divorce: Can I receive communion if I'm
divorced? Remarried? What is the process of
annulment?

The
Reconnecting Catholics Program meets once a week on
Thursday evenings for twelve weeks. People are welcome to
join the process at any point and are under no pressure to
continue.
The program
offers an opportunity to explore a return to full
participation in the Catholic Church and includes
information on current Church practices and beliefs.
The process is
designed to answer participants' questions in an informal
setting, and to provide tools for reflecting on an
individual's spirituality and life experience.
For people who
have never left the Church, the process offers an
opportunity to explore some of the changes in the Church
during the last 30 years.
