Welcome to St. John Vianney Track and Field - 2010
Like to run, jump or throw? Try Track and Field! The Saint John Vianney CYO Track and Field team is open to boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 who like to move.

Registration for the 2010 Season :
(We are accepting registrations until April if you miss this meeting )
When: Tuesday, January 19th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Sports Basement

(Sports Basement will be offering a 20% discount on merchandise purchased at the time of the event)

Needed for Registration:
1.   The Parental Permission/ Health Authorization/ Release Form
-Fillable on your computer before you print
-Remember to include T Shirt Size, E-mail Address and Sign the Back

Track Team Fee: $70 ($10 discount for each sibling)

Meet schedule, event information, team philosophy and volunteer needs will be discussed.

Practices will begin on Thursday, Feb. 18th   Meets will be on Saturday mornings.

Practices: Mondays & Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm + (times may vary based on availability of track and daylight)
Location:  Northgate High School Track
Meets: Saturdays starting March 13th through May 8th  (No Meet April 3rd)
Diocesan Finals: May 7th & & 8th
Location:  TBA

High Jump (5th-8th)
Shot Put (5th-8th)

Each child may compete in: 2 Track Events & 1 Field Event + Relays, or 1 Track Event & 2 Field Events + Relays.  Athletes are encouraged to try a variety of events.

2nd graders are eligible to participate and will compete against other 2nd graders meets #1-#4
For the qualifying meet and beyond they will compete as/against 3rd graders.
